The Barrens You are in a wide cracked-clay desert. Through the center of it runs the river. The area may have once teemed with life but it has long since died. All that remains is the strange river life.

This area is the source of magical amber, but it has long since been mined away. There are a few eccentric prospectors left but for the most part amber is reused now. Amber recharges after about a year.
