First a note on language:
A test means that a D6 (regular die) is rolled, the die is compared to one of the thangie's attributes + any skills useful in the situation. If the roll is higher, the thangie fails the test, otherwise the thangie passes.
Sometimes equations are used to modify situations. Symbols used are variables which any number can be inserted into. The same number must be inserted for every occurence of the symbol.
Some skill test examples:
- Thieving - stealing items or pickpocketing in cities or towns.
- Test Vs. perception, if you pass then you have stolen the number you rolled in silver coins.
- If you fail, test Vs. agility to evade capture.
- You may choose to reduce the value of items stolen before the roll. {money/# (round down), # rerolls allowed, unless specified when taking the challenge, rerolls will be used for the easier test}
- if you choose to increase the money, {Test #D6 Vs. same as before, you get {#xperception+the lowest die result} silver}
