IMAGINATION UNLIMITED PRESENTS:
THE LEGENDARY WORLD OF THANG

This site is for those interested in myths and Swords & Sorcery fiction. Hopefully all who visit will be entertained.
Thang is a planet which circles a star much like ours. Where our moon is, Thang has a dead pulsar which flashes twice per second.

Thang has several major areas. The large central area is controlled by the empire.
It's people use iron age technology, (similar to Rome), and some Boog items, (middle ages).

Spells are cast by several means: Druidic - which channels energy through crystals, Spirit - which uses the amber of an extinct plant species, and Dark - which is rumored to be powered by the dreams of a race of giant insects, the Darkyn.

People ride dinosaurs for all sorts of land movement. Large herbavores make excellent cargo animals and warriors ride carnivores. Only the most skilled can ride the deadly T-rex.

The land of the empire was once inhabited by a race of arachnids known as the Boog. 100 years ago, a powerful druid became corrupt with evil, he led the people of Barbaros in a genocidal war on the Boog. Once the Boog were expelled he went to the task of opening the crypts of the Boogar, an ancient race of Boog who used the magic of Darkyndreams like we use electricity.

Since the opening of the first Boogar tombs 20 years ago, all manner of enchanted weapons and items have become available, but not to the average adventurer...

East of the Empire is the land of Lyzyds. Although not an advanced civilization (Bronze age), there is some trade with the empire. Their lizard bodies are strong and naturally armored.

Across the northern sea is a mountainous continent inhabited by Giants. Their technology is the worst of all the tool using races of Thang (Stone age).
